Headway Thames Valley have given me the chance to fulfill my 20 something pipe dream of running the London Marathon, something I never thought would happen and on April 25th 2027 I'll be lacing up my trainers for the longest run of my life. In exchange I am trying to raise as much money as possible for their invaluable help with all things brain injury. I have found them to be the calm in the storm and the only ears to ever actually hear my voice. After a decade of being unheard and undiagnosed, Headway Thames Valley and the completely incredible team of people there, saved me and made me feel human again. I can never thank them enough for making me feel so seen and heard and taking away the loneliness of being so misunderstood.
Here's a link to an interview I did with them if you want to know more about my journey- https://youtu.be/mfKt8-soj9o
